Dinner with wine tasting of the farm "Beconcini Pietro"
Third appointment with "Conversiamo Vino e Cibo" at the Agriturismo La Colombaia, in Vicchio (Fi).
Dinner with our organic products and tasting of wines produced by the farm "Beconcini Pietro" of San Miniato (Pi). Withe the owner, Leonardo Beconcini, discovering the farm and its Tempranillo Toscano, one from a Prephilloxera vineyard!
Menu and wine pairings:
Appetizer: Chianina Salt Meat Dadolata with Scrambled Egg with Pink Pepper, Cheese Fondue and Waffle Flavored with Wild Fennel.
Wine paired: Fresco di Nero I.G.T. 2018 (100% Tempranillo PreVendemmia);
First course: Chitarrine with Lamb Ragù, Ricotta, Mint and Lemon.
Wine paired: IXE I.G.T. 2016 (100% Tempranillo Campi Nuovi);
Main course: Chili of Cinta Senese Pork with Borlotti Beans.
Wine in combination: Vigna Le Nicchie I.G.T. 2012 (100% Tempranillo Prephilloxera);
Dessert: Panna Cotta scented with Orange with semi-integral Cantuccini crumbs.
Wine in combination: Caratello 2008 (Vin Santo del Chianti D.O.C.).
