Vincent Williams aka DJ Spinna has managed to remain an independent artist despite being universally recognized as one of the most versatile and influential producers / DJs / remixers on the contemporary scene. From his childhood spent collecting records to radio experiences (for Kiss FM, BBC and Radio Nova), from his debut at the Club Shelter in New York to the unforgettable parties around the World between Club Yellow (Tokyo), The End and Cargo ( London), Paradiso (Amsterdam), from the debut with the duo Jigmastas to the consoles shared with DJ Shadow, QuestLove, Francois K and Jazzy Jeff, Spinna has established itself as one of the reference points for reading the future of music that finds its own roots in the 'black continuum' of funk, soul, r & b and jazz, it grows in a hip-hop context and naturally evolves into an electronic environment.
The discographic debut is dated mid nineties with the project The Jigmastas that will see him get to the association with the label BBE in 2002, leading him to publish first the cult LP "Here To There" and then the series "The Wonder of Stevie "dedicated to the great American soulman, which will lead him to a closer collaboration with Stevie Wonder.

Another historical artistic association is the one with Michael Jackson, started with the famous theme parties "Soul Slam", continued with "BK loves MJ", the annual event organized by Spike Lee for Michael's birthday, in which Dj Spinna leads the jam diurnal, and culminated with "Forever Michael", the big event on the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the release of the album "Bad", as well as with the official remix of "We're Almost There".
