Federica Ferracuti (born 11 April 1994), is an Italian singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist in Fermo.
He began studying music at the age of twelve, starting from the study of jazz and improvisation techniques on guitar.
Self-taught, during these years he learned to play piano, bass, contrabass and cello.
In 2013 he enters the G. Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro, studying Sound Design, acoustic composition and techniques of composition and ambassadoric spatialization. During these years, he also studied with Fons Adriaensen, Jorn Nettingsmeier, Barry Truax and Walter Branchi.
He took a degree in sound design, presenting a quadrifonica installation for seven cubes, seven RGB spots and seven Fibonacci sequences, called "SETTENTRIONE".
After several years of small concerts around Italy with several solo projects,
in 2016 he created "Hu" as a way to express his true "double" identity.
Its sound explores every type of neoclassic mood to build rhythmic and melodic structures on it.
In 2017, Alpha, one of its unreleased tracks, was chosen for the fashion campaign Anotherness x MALLONI FW Collection.
In 2018, he recorded the guitars and co-produced a rockabilly track for the summer collection of Chiara Ferragni (available only on instagram).
In the same year, he reached the final of Jager Music Lab, flying to Berlin for 9 days and doing several master classes with Alex Tripi, Nello Greco, Luca Pretolesi, RIVA STARR, Luca Beijing, Luca Agnelli, Luca Guerrieri, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag , Soundwall, Ableton and Roland.
He won a special mention during the days of Berlin and Alex Tripi and Nello Greco begin to follow Hu, as producers and artistic managers.
Now they are working together in Rome on his first album at the Mat Academy Studio.
