Like a swan in the evening
Its origins are lost in the mists of time (III century BC) and today its melodious sound fascinates at every latitude.
Arpa protagonist Saturday 19 January at Dietro Le Quinte di Sieci (8.30 pm - Florence) together with Antonella Natangelo, the last event of the review "Close, distant harps of harp".
His recital "Like a swan in the evening" is a musical journey, for solo harp and harp and voice, through pieces of Breton, Irish, Scottish and English traditions.
Child Ballads, stories of love and abandonment, lost and found lands, dances and nostalgia are interwoven with texts by William Butler Yeats and other poets of the culture of the Channel.
An inspired and dreamlike show.
Arpista, soprano and composer, Antonella Natangelo was formed with the harpists Patrizia Bini and Cinzia Conte. Graduated in singing at the Cherubini Conservatory of Florence, she studied baroque singing with Piero Grazzini and composition with Antonio Morelli. She is considered a pioneer of singing with harp in Italy.
