Game of Thrones is confirmed as one of the most popular TV series. A success also dictated by his extraordinary soundtrack, to which "The Great Barrier Concert" is dedicated, the live event scheduled for Monday 22 July (9.15 pm) at the Musart Festival Firenze, in piazza della Santissima Annunziata, for two steps from the Duomo.
Tickets - seats numbered from 20 to 51.75 euros - are available at Box Office Toscana sales points and online at Ticketone. For those who wish it is available the Gold Package (111 euros), which on the first sector ticket combines dedicated entrance, guided tour of the art places of the square, hospitality area, catering service, reductions for exhibitions and cultural activities.
Directed by the master Giacomo Loprieno, the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra will present songs and themes that mark the eight seasons. A tribute to exciting battles, epic moments and dramatic ones.
On the program are tracks from every season, while the voice of Daniele Giuliani - Jon Snow's official voice actor and special guest of the evening - will introduce the eight movements with short presentation texts. Over one hundred artists will be on stage.
To complete the program there will be theatrical gems from "Valar Morghulis Rock Opera", a rock opera inspired by the epic atmospheres of Game of Thrones, an idea born of the theater director and writer Rossella Lorenzo. On stage the actors Rossella Lorenzo, Nicolò Taddia, Carlotta Sgroi, Sofia Bizzo, Andrea Cicala, Rudy Mariani, Maristella Magnani.
The Ensemble Symphony Orchestra was born within the Massa and Carrara Symphony Orchestra thanks to the fusion of the classical and lyrical experiences of some of the best Italian instrumentalists from theaters such as the Carlo Felice of Genoa, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro Comunale of Bologna , the Orchestra della Toscana, the Toscanini Foundation of Parma.
The ensemble has collaborated with famous names in jazz, pop and gospel, demonstrating an extraordinary versatility and knowledge of languages and structures different from the classical ones. Among the realized projects it is impossible not to remember those with Robbie Williams, Renato Zero, PFM, Andrea Bocelli, Francesco De Gregori, Pooh, Riccardo Cocciante, Richard Galliano, Stefano Bollani, Enrico Rava, Ron, Luis Bacalov, Giovanni Allevi.
As usual, before the evening concert, there are free admission Musart appointments: in Piazza Brunelleschi, at 18.30 the meeting "Via D'Azeglio, center of Bologna, where not even a child is lost ...", Lucio Dalla and Bologna in the stories of Bruno Sconocchia, manager of Lucio.
