Tricarico, Benvegnù, Edda, Gnut, Joe Barbieri, Alessandro Fiori… Songwriters devoted to the originality and quality that the Festival delle Colline will offer in July in unconventional spaces in Prato and the Prato hills, keeping faith with what years, it is his identity.
Despite the difficulties of the moment, there is a desire to start again, also on the cultural side. The Municipality of Poggio a Caiano, with the support of the Municipalities of Prato and Carmignano, confirms its commitment, in compliance with the safety measures.
Four appointments, all with free admission, with reservations required through the presale circuits and without any expense to be paid by the spectator. Tickets will be available from July 1st.
Particular - and in line with the times - the formula of this the Festival of 2020: two guests and two live (with both) in the evening, at 19 and 21.30, to be able to welcome, in complete safety, the largest number of spectators.
Opening on Sunday 5 July at Villa Il Cerretino in Poggio a Caiano, together with the Neapolitan singer-songwriter Gnut - with the new project "the bear 'nnammurato" suspended between English folk, Neapolitan song, blues and African music - and the Dadaist duo Ooopopoiooo, a sound patchwork forged in extravagant freedom: theremin, violin, electronics, rap, visionary nursery rhymes ...
Tuesday 7 July always in Poggio a Caiano, but in the garden of the Church of Bonistallo, space for the highly inspired Tricarico, in an acoustic version to give us surreal narratives and successes that have marked his career. Perfect pairing with Joe Barbieri and with his style imbued with poetry, chanson française, splinters of jazz.
"Of hatred and innocence" is the new, extraordinary album by Paolo Benvengnù, in which we find the talent of an outsider lent to rock, indie, songwriting. On Wednesday 8 July, at the Villa Medicea in Artimino, he will share the stage with a friend and longtime collaborator, Alessandro Fiori.
Implosive and restless style, skinny textures that become round melodies: Stefano "Edda" Rampoldi presents the new album Fru Fru. And he brings with him another senator of the Italian indie, the ex 24 Grana Francesco Di Bella, on Friday 10 July to the amphitheater of the Centro Pecci in Prato. This is the only evening - 9.30 pm - which does not include two live shows.
